Chandra and SoBrina have been coming to our care facility providing community visits, as well as one-on-one visits with residents. I cannot put a value on what their visits bring to our residents, as I watch them interact with residents that I had never heard speak a word, or shown any interest in much at all. As I walk down the halls of our facility, residents will stop me and ask when their next visit with SoBrina is. She brings so much joy to their lives, especially since many of our residents are not able to leave the facility and do not have visitors. Pet therapy is at the top of my list for enhancing someone’s life who faces medical challenges or just needs the touch from a furry friend.
