Most of my mom’s later adult life she has had dogs as pets. Now she is in a nursing home, and the visits of the canine companions lift her mood and bring such joy to her day. I am thankful this part of her life continues with each visit! It is wonderful to see the love the dogs have for visiting and being a part of the life of residents.
